Safaa Ayyad, an independent journalist, studied Mass Communication at
Beirut Arab University in 2012. I began my journalistic work by writing
articles in Al-Nahar newspaper, the Nahar Al-Shabab, and the Al-Akhbar
newspaper. I also worked for three years as a news reporter and editor at
NBN TV.
Since 2017, I have worked as a freelance journalist and data auditor, in
several media platforms, including Al-Modon newspaper, in the politics and
media analysis department. As for SMEX, I specialized in writing media
and digital rights articles. I cooperated with the Maharat News website, the
Chayyek website which specializes in combating fake news and fact-
checking, and the website Sharikawalaken, which specializes in feminist
issues.
